Recently, India has tried to remove the Kashmir agenda In UN security council on pretext of its outdated agenda and Kashmir dispute solved. After repelling the Kashmir special status. India has taken this step in the midst of upcoming 75th UN general assembly session where Imran khan may raise the issue of Kashmir and brief about Indian atrocities in held Kashmir. Scrapping the article 35a and 370 on august 5th, 2019, India had showed the world its heading towards a RSS agenda to change India into a Hindu state where Muslims, probably have to leave India. China helped Pakistan when India remove the special status of Kashmir, with Calling emergency meeting in UN security council on 16 August. But the UN itself seemed powerless when it comes to Kashmir question.
Unilaterally
Despite there are 16 resolution on Kashmir but India tends to taken unilaterally decisions. As India did again to suggesting UN council to remove the Kashmir question from its Agenda; as it outdated.
Indians diplomacy even don't know the facts, If the Kashmir questions was outdated so why the UN has its Military group in held Kashmir? (UNMOGIP) United nation military observe group India and Pakistan. Which was created for maintain the ceasefire and keep surveillance on Kashmir brutality in Indian illegal occupied Kashmir (IIOK).

UN has adopted 16 resolution to solve the Kashmir dispute since 1948 when India illegally annexed the Kashmir in spite of kashmir was Muslim majority princely state. The machanism which India and Pakistan parted was the whichever was the Muslim majority state would join Pakistan and vice versa. UN has been seemed helpless and powerless before Indians atrocities and their arrogant nature in resolving Kashmir dispute can be seen. Now, speculation Is, As league of nation couldn't save the world from second world war, its likely, UN could do nothing when the disputes between countries reach at peak, and eventually, the war break off. UN failed in solving Palestine issue, Afghanistan war, Syria civil war, Myanmar genocide, Kashmir, Bosnia genocide etc... These are failures of UN that are greater than the its success which were few.
Pakistan, China, Turkey, Iran and Malaysia should raise voice over the reformation of UN as it not be politicised by India and its puppet European countries.
